Blue Flag isn’t just made in Texas, it’s made of Texas.
Rooted in Fort Worth and crafted with local grain, local hands, and a spirit of open hospitality, our whiskey honors the land, the people, and the stories that make this place unlike anywhere else. From the porch flag to the stillhouse, everything we create is, authentic, and made to be shared.
Authentic
For the first time in over 52 years, American whiskey has a new official identity—and Blue Flag is honored to be part of it. The U.S. Government has formally recognized American Single Malt Whiskey as a distinct category, protecting its craft and its story. Beginning January 19, 2025, the designation safeguards the integrity, transparency, and heritage behind this uniquely American expression.
To be called American Single Malt Whiskey, every bottle must be:
We are in the process of joining the American Single Malt Whiskey Commission, aligning with the distillers shaping the future of American whiskey.
Made to be shared
Great whiskey starts long before it reaches the still.
Blue Flag is proud to partner with TexMalt, sourcing our malted barley from right here in Texas. Their grains are heritage, terroir-driven, and responsibly grown, each variety bringing a sense of place into the spirit.
From the soil to the barrel, every choice we make reflects our commitment to craft, community, and authenticity. Sourcing locally isn’t just about proximity—, it's about integrity. When you raise a glass of Blue Flag whiskey, you’re tasting more than a spirit. You’re tasting Texas.
You’re tasting Texas
Texas whiskey isn’t just a category, it’s a movement.
Blue Flag is aligned with the Texas Whiskey Association, an organization dedicated to protecting and promoting authentic Texas-made whiskey.
Membership means more than geography, it means accountability to quality, transparency, and craft. It represents a shared vision to elevate Texas as a global whiskey destination.
